Keswick is a vibrant market town on the edge of beautiful Derwentwater. An excellent base for walking and cycling, there are also opportunities for sailing, horseriding, fishing and golf. Aside from the natural splendour, Keswick offers a wealth of local attractions and a wide choice of places to eat.
Keswick has regular bus services connecting with trains at Carlisle, Penrith and Windermere. It is easy to use public transport to get about while staying at Skiddaw Grove. We are easy to find by car too. From the M6 motorway, junction 40, head west on the A66 for 18 miles. Take 2nd signs to Keswick (at the Crosthwaite Roundabout) signed B5271 Borrowdale. Turn immediate right into Vicarage Hill and we are first on the left. If travelling from the South Lakes, head right through the town, over the river and turn right (signed Carlisle A591). Vicarage Hill is the left turn just before the A66 roundabout. SKIDDAW GROVE COUNTRY GUEST HOUSE VICARAGE HILL APARTMENTS TARIFF 2008. TERRACE APARTMENT & SQUIRREL
